Shiloh Park Exchange Shelter, Zion, IL

You and your friends are invited to join us at our annual church picnic and worship service in the park. Come say goodbye to summer-break and hello to back-to-school!
 
Worship will begin at 10:45am (short, simplified, with casual dress, online giving only, and no Sunday School) followed by an outdoor luncheon. The church will provide hamburgers, hotdogs, drinks, and tableware. Guests may bring a side dish or dessert to share (no crockpots please).
 
Lawn games (cornhole), volleyball, and swimming will be available after lunch. Guests may bring lawn games to share (no popup tents or inflatables without park permits).  It will be the last day of the season to swim at the Port Shiloh Pool, which is next-door to our picnic shelter. (Individual Daily Admission Fees: $7 for 1:00pm-6:00pm; $5 for 3:00pm-6:00pm.)
1 – EXCHANGE SHELTER: (Red dot #1 on map above) Located in Shiloh Park this shelter has 18 picnic tables (approximate capacity 100 persons). Shiloh Park has a central washroom facility within 500 feet of the shelter. There are two grills and a water spigot and five 15 amp outlets at this shelter. Parking is available at the Shiloh Park playground area on 27th St. or at the lot next to Port Shiloh Pool on Shiloh Blvd. There is no parking at the shelter except for unloading.
